PASER 4
Building upon the success of the industry’s best selling Flow PASER ECL® cutting head, Flow engineers have adapted the technology developed for the 94,000 psi/6500 bar cutting environment and have now applied it to 60,000 psi/4150 bar cutting applications. Flow’s newly designed cutting head establishes a new industry benchmark with the fastest possible cutting speed and the lowest possible operating cost.
Flow continues to raise the bar as proven with the new state-of-the-art, innovative UCL (Ultra Component Life) technology. UCL technology extends orifice and mixing tube component life to a level that has never been achieved before. This means lower cost of operation since fewer parts are consumed and maintenance intervals are greatly reduced.
PASER 4 UCL Cutting Head
At the center of Flow’s UCL technology is the new Precision Orifice assembly. The new Diamond Precision Orifice will perform at 60,000 psi/4150 bar or 87,000 psi/6000 bar operating pressure reliably and repeatedly lasting longer than ever before.
Unlike other cutting heads, the PASER 4 cutting head allows you to easily change the orifice assembly without having to replace the entire cutting head. You also have the choice of using less expensive Flow non-diamond Precision Orifices at 60,000 psi/4150 bar, which may last 5–6 times longer in the new PASER 4 Cutting Head at less cost than that of the diamond orifice.
Features & Benefits:
- New design of orifice increases component life 3–6 times over earlier generations and competing cutting heads.
- New design of mixing chamber for improved abrasive entrainment into the waterjet cutting stream, provides you optimized abrasive consumption, superior cut quality, longer component life and reduced costs.
- Improved alignment of the cutting head ensures consistent, repeatable and predictable cut quality performance.
- New design of Abrasive Metering Valve minimizes clogging and surging of abrasive providing an efficient and consistent delivery providing you with superior cut quality.
- New On/Off Valve for 60ksi/4150 bar or 94ksi/6500 bar provides longer lasting components and higher reliability, decreasing maintenance required and increasing up time.
- Easy operation, maintenance and component replacement reduces training required and minimizes down time.
- Increased productivity—longer lasting parts mean longer cutting operations between maintenance intervals, lower inventory carrying costs and lower operating costs.
- Now available for 60ksi/4150 bar and 94 ksi/6500 bar applications.
